The Stables luxury holiday cottage is in a recently converted steading attractively situated with woodlands directly behind, and the gardens of the main house to the front. The property has a sunny Southfacing aspect, and pleasant rural views.

The area is a haven for wildlife and will suit those simply seeking relaxation, as well as being ideally located for those who enjoy fishing, walking or cycling.

The Stables luxury holiday cottage has been sensitively developed to retain the charm of the original building, yet is fitted and equipped to a luxurious modern standard to ensure that guests have a relaxed and pleasant stay. It has three bedrooms, and two bathrooms (one en-suite) and sleeps up to 6 guests in comfort. A travel cot and highchair can also be provided upon request.

On ground level the cottage has an attractive reception hall, a large living room with a solid oak floor, wood burning stove and flat screen TV. There is also an open plan, spacious kitchen/diner which is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridgefreezer and washer/dryer, with French doors to the garden.

A boiler room with drying facilities, and family bathroom with over bath shower are also located on the ground floor.

Upstairs in The Stables luxury holiday cottage, there are three comfortable and well furnished bedrooms:

A spacious master bedroom suite, with kingsize bed, luxurious en-suite bathroom with corner bath and shower over. French doors lead out to an attractive private deck.

There are two further double bedrooms, one of which can be configured as two single beds upon request.

Ample private on-site parking is available to the side of the property.

All towels, linen, heating and electricity are included, as is a Welcome tray and starter basket of logs.

The Stables luxury self catering cottage has its own private garden area to the front of the property, equipped with garden furniture and barbecue.

Guests can use the Stables as a convenient base from which to explore Dumfries & Galloway, the Borders and Cumbria. Hadrians Wall, Keilder Forest and the North lakes are all within a short drive. Alternatively you can choose to explore the woods around the house on a warm summer evening, take a pleasant stroll to the nearby waterfall, or simply unwind in the peaceful gardens.
