A charming and elegant Victorian house with two beautifully converted self catering holiday cottages, set in three acres of lovely gardens and paddocks, ideally located in a tranquil rural setting on the Border Esk river.
We aim to provide our guests with a truly comfortable and relaxing stay, whether your preference is to be pampered in the main house (recommended by Alastair Sawdays "Special Places to Stay"*) or to chill out in one of our pretty self catering cottages.
We offer modern standards of luxury and comfort, coupled with period style and attention to detail, in an unspoilt rural location, teeming with birds and wildlife.
Whether you come to fish for wild Salmon and Sea-trout, to explore the Scottish Borders, to walk on Hadrian's Wall, or simply to relax in the garden with a good book, our aim is to ensure that your visit is memorable.
Breakfast and evening meals are freshly prepared using locally sourced produce, and include fruit and vegetables from our own kitchen garden, and eggs from our own hens wherever possible.
The focus of our Scottish Bed and Breakfast, and in our self catering cotages is on personal service and attention to detail, and many of our many returning guests are testament to the magic of Byreburnfoot.
